Clever Association were again the proud sponsor of the Music Tent at the 2025 Wetherby Beer Festival, with this one being the biggest and best yet.
The third Wetherby Beer festival was by far the biggest and best yet, with great attendance, an amazing drinks selection, and some spectacular weather to match!
Wetherby Beer Festival
Wetherby have had a rugby club since 1934, and after a hiatus following WWII, the club has gone from strength to strength. After several promotions, the men’s 1XV now play in North East 2, a highly competitive regional league. The Wetherby Beer Festival is held at the club’s home at Grange Park and is a great local event, raising much needed funds for local good causes too. Clever Association have been supporters of the club for a long time, and we recently extended our sponsorship of all seventeen teams’ playing shorts, to the Music tent at the Beer Festival too.
Music
Sponsoring the Music tent is a perfect fit for us, as we spend a great deal of our time designing and installing music systems for our clients, in homes and in hospitality environments too. The line up of amazing tribute acts this year brought crowd-pleasing hits from Bruce Spingsteen, Harry Styles, Pink, Fleetwood Mac and Oasis. The music tent is always a bit of a focal point at the Beer Festival and this year it looked and sounded better than ever.
Food & Drink
With well over fifty different beers to sample, many of them from our region, alongside a Gin Bar and Champagne Lounge, with lots of alcohol-free options, there was something for everyone. Street food vendors served up a whole variety of tasty treats, from pizzas to fried chicken and ice creams, making sure that everybody was well fed throughout the day.
Martin House Children’s Hospice
Over the past three years, the Wetherby Beer Festival has raised over £130,000 for local good causes. This year it allowed the Event Directors Stephen Hoather and Jonathan Hirst to hand over a cheque for £7,500 to Martin House Childen’s Hospice, to help towards ‘The Build’ of their new Children’s Wing. Martin House Children’s Hospice aim to provide family led care for children with life-shortening conditions. It is a place where children, young people and their families can stay from time to time along their journey, finding support, rest and practical help.
Thank you to all who joined us at The Beer Festival, we’re looking forward to the next one already!
