The project
Lindy is one of the world’s leading suppliers of computer and AV connection technologies. We were asked by Lindy in the UK to carry out the audio-visual design and installation works in their conference room. We worked closely with the appointed cabinetry manufacturer to ensure that the technologies were installed without compromising room aesthetics.
A technical presentation system is the main focal point in the room, giving users the ability to view content from many different sources. Audio and video conferencing is taken care of by a Polycom system with a discreet ceiling pendant microphone over the table. Audio within the space was delivered by Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers, custom painted and hidden behind a bespoke timber raft in the ceiling.
Lutron lighting control and motorised window treatments, along with all audio-visual technologies, can be controlled via an RTI handheld remote-control handset and wall keypad.
