Rudding Park is a luxury, country hotel situated on the outskirts of Harrogate, North Yorkshire with stylish and modern facilities including function rooms, a spa and a private cinema where guests can enjoy the ultimate viewing experience.

The function rooms each include a background music system, with the main venue also having PA and visual systems for presentations. Lutron lighting control throughout the key areas allows lighting levels to be adjusted to create the ideal ambiance for events, automatically reducing light levels and energy use when areas are vacated.

In the private cinema, a high-definition digital video projector, multiple Bowers and Wilkins custom theatre loudspeakers and Lutron lighting control creates the perfect atmosphere for guests to watch their movies in total comfort. An AMX in-wall touch screen offers intuitive control of the entertainment system and gives guests the ability to pause and play the film whenever they wish. As well as Blu-rays and DVDs, guests can also bring their own laptop computer or video games console which can easily be connected to the system, making Rudding Park Cinema a great space for corporate events too.

We also worked on Rudding Park’s new £9.5m spa complex featuring indoor swimming pool with filtered natural spring water, taken from the hotel grounds, roof top spa garden, hydrotherapy infinity pool, eleven treatment rooms, hair and beauty facilities, spa restaurant and shop where guests can buy spa products.

A discreet background music system has been designed and installed which covers all of the communal areas throughout the facility, providing a consistent and relaxing journey as guests move through the space. In treatment rooms, therapists can select music tailored to a specific treatment they are going to deliver, enhancing the experience of guests.

There are mind and sense zones within the spa too, designed to enhance guest’s wellness of mind, body and soul. These areas are used before and after treatments to ensure total relaxation of all the senses. In the visual relaxation area, a three-metre wide image of waves lapping on a shore, wildflower meadows and breath-taking mountainscapes can be watched from the comfiest seats in the house, all with a perfectly matched soundtrack.
