We were asked to provide motorised window treatments for this modern home in Yorkshire. As much of the property is glazed, manually opening and closing that quantity of window treatments would have been quite a task to do, twice a day.

Sheer roller blinds were selected for the majority of rooms locations, offering privacy and control of sunlight too. Blackout blinds were selected in some key rooms and then curtain tracks were added in the bedrooms too.

The Lutron solution proposed can be easily controlled via wall mounted keypads or through a simple to use App on the homeowners’ own smartphones and tablets. As the Lutron system monitors the sunrise and sunset times throughout the year, it also allows the client to have some areas automatically closing as it gets dark outside, opening up again at set times in the morning to suit their daily routine.
