Kensington Townhouse

The project

This Grade II* listed Georgian Terrace is situated in South Kensington, London. Due to the property’s listed status, it was important for our audio-visual technology to complement the property in the most discreet manner.

The backbone of this London property was the future resilient cable infrastructure that we designed and installed throughout the property. This cable infrastructure allows for expansion of existing audio-visual systems, allowing our client to add additional items at any time in the future.

A whole-house telephone system and IT equipment, including PCs and printers, were set up along with a robust wired and wireless network, ensuring internet access was available from anywhere in the property.

We installed a Lutron lighting control system throughout, enabling lighting levels to be altered via Lutron wall keypads, iPads and handheld remotes. The Lutron system also includes control over the electric privacy glass located in the orangery.

A high-performance multi-room audio system using Bowers & Wilkins and Leon loudspeakers and digital media streaming was also installed throughout the property.

High-definition video distribution hardware allows Apple TV, Sky satellite receivers and Blu-ray disc players, hidden away out of sight, to be viewed on any of the Samsung and Loewe televisions. In the formal dining area, technology had to be discreet so the Samsung television was cleverly disguised behind a bespoke glass mirror and frame so that it could only be seen while in use.

“We have worked with Clever Association on several projects now and we are delighted with the results. They are a very easy company to work with, the staff are always friendly and professional. Their aftercare service is excellent.”
