The project
This impressive private residence in the North East of England has been renovated throughout, with the addition of a large contemporary extension to the rear of the property where the technology installed made a real statement.
We carried out the house-wide lighting design service and supply of fittings, working closely with on-site contractors and interior designers to ensure that everything went smoothly. Home security and heating control have both been taken care of, with monitoring and adjustments available both within the home and remotely.
Lutron lighting control was used throughout, with internal and external lighting being controllable alongside motorised window treatments.
A multi-room audio system, using Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers and Sonos digital media streamers, allows the family to wirelessly cast their music or stream from Internet radio and music subscription services, anywhere in the home or around the grounds.
A high-performance cinema with tiered seating, reference level audio and anamorphic projector with movie server was installed. The impressive room in this luxury home has been recognised as one of the best home cinemas in the world. It was awarded ‘Best Home Cinema- Level III’ (high-end cinema) by Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA), for our detailed design work, quality installation and outstanding audio-visual performance.
