This Modern Yorkshire Residence houses a variety of intuitive to use, high-quality smart home technology systems, designed to enhance the clean, contemporary space.

To support all technology systems within the property we designed and implemented a robust home network infrastructure, ensuring there is always a fast and reliable connection to the Internet from anywhere in the house or grounds.

In the early design stages, the client expressed how important it was to have a simple to use audio system, with access to listen to their favourite songs and radio stations throughout the home. A high-performance multi-room audio system using Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers was implemented throughout key areas of the property, including the kitchen, dining room, living room, pool and gym.

A HDMI distribution system was also implemented, enabling the client to access Sky, Apple TV and UHD Blu-ray movies on every Samsung 4K UHD television in the property, without the eyesore of multiple boxes cluttering rooms. Audio systems and televisions are controllable via RTI handheld remote controls, iPads and smart phones for ease and convenience.

The clients had set aside a room to be a ‘man cave’, somewhere they could view the latest movies and important sporting events, so we designed a dedicated cinema system which included a Sony projector, large projection screen and a high-quality Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system.

For peace of mind, a security system was installed which featured 2N gate intercoms, both at the motorised gate and at the front door. Family members can gain access to the property via a pin code, whilst visitors must press a ‘call’ button to request access from the homeowners in the house. The CCTV system on-site was also made available to view on television screens, iPads and smart phones too.
